now 16 years old is the most affectionate people-friendly Pomeranian I
have ever seen. He's been known to jump on the laps of strangers for love. The older he gets the closer we are to having to say "see ya later" to an old friend. I just hope he knows how loved he is when the time comes


                                                             
 
 
Loki AKA Mushy 

Hi, There I'm Loki, named because no matter what my Momma knew that I was going to be a mischievous little booger and I am giving her a run for her money. I love to chew, and jumping, hugs, and tug of war with Momma are my favorite things. Some people think my Momma got me to replace Bowen, she didn't. No one can replace him, but I take the sting of his loss away, which is any dog's job. Our goofy-ness brings laughter and so long as there is laughter who has time for tears. 

If you are wondering where Bowen went on this blog, I had to give him up due to an out-of-control skin allergy that I couldn't afford to keep up with. It damn near killed me to part with my canine soul mate but I had to do what was best for him. I still cry uncontrollably for him, but I know he is happy and healthy and that is all I could hope for.

Meet The Felines

Meet the latest addition to our family! Jack is a sweet, sweet girl, and a bit nuts, (even more so than our calico Simi) She loves our German Shepherd Bowen very much. Even Ozzy tolerates her because she's given him no choice with her persistence.

BB, one of 5 feline critters who makes a great alarm clock and is also, as you can see, a great reminder to slow down and enjoy the sunshine.

                                                              Ozzy is our oldest critter at almost 14 years. He is well known around our neighbourhood for darting out from under our garden hostas, scaring the crap out people waiting for the bus

    



    Oliver
   "Ollie" is our snuggle bug. He will gladly add nose art to your glasses if you scratch his back. He is also the ultimate crochet helper.

This gorgeous girl is the newest family member, she is one high energy Princess and knows it.
